Wednesday, July 1, 1885 pg. 4 SHERMAN Special to the Gazette Sherman, Texas, June 30 - A picnic was held to-day at Hollingsworth's school house, halfway between Sherman and Denison, but many persons from this city were deterred from going on account of the weather and saved themselves a drenching by staying at home.
