Thursday, August 13, 1942 GIEGER INCLUDED IN SCHOOL DIST. The Denison School Board last night approved taking it, a third rural school as one of the Denison institutions of education, when they voted to include the Gieger school near Denison. Hyde Park school, southeast of town, has been a part of the city school system for three years and the Reason school northwest, was taken in two years ago. With the Gieger school now part of the urban setup, Denison schools will be entitled to a higher per capita allotment and the rural children of these nearby sections will benefit from the facilities offered incorporated town by the state government.
