December 1912 the faculty of the school purchased a piano for the
schoola at a cost of $125.00. They also decided to enlarge the
accomodations of the domestic science department by putting in half a
dozen or more gas plates and a sink as well as a wall clock.
Teachers and pupils raised $22.50. They then passed
envelopes throughout the community asking for contributions toward the
new piano and school accomodations.
