 Sherman, Texas On Monday, the twelfth of April, 1869, the following notice appeared in the paper here in Sherman:
"Miss Mattie Bounds, assisted by R. O. Burred, will open The English and Classical School. It cannot be surpassed in discipline, thoroughness, and rapid advancement."
