Elm
View School was a two-room school with grades 1 through 7. The
janitorial serves were provided by each teacher who swept the school
rooms, fired the stoves and drew drinking water from the well located
in the school yard.
The school was consolidated with the Gunter Public School in 1934. At that time Mrs. W. J. Phillips and the students were transferred to Gunter. Among the trustees were:
