815 W. Florence st. Denison, Texas The
Cotton Mill School in extreme south Denison began in a small one-room
structure at 800 West Florence Street. Children of cotton

the left and a few yards further back from the street. On
opening
day in September 1922, the new school received its new name, Golden
Rule, by which it is still known.
