The people of Celtic have for some time had the reputation of having one of the most progressive communities in Grayson county.  Their school has been especially fine, a great deal of interest on the part of the teacher, trustees and pupils being taken to boy's corn club work, girls' canning club work, and other general community propositions.  The trustees of the community accnounced to the Sherman Chamber of Commerce that they have secured a teacher for the coming year, Miss Otto Denton of Sherman, who taught in the Howe schools last year.  Miss Denton was highly recommended to the Celtic people by the people of Howe, and was especially attracted to the Celtic community on account of the community interest shown at Celtic. Her assistant will be Mrs. H.T. Phares, living near Howe.  In addition to being  interested in the fine boys and girls and fine corn, I.O. Poindexter, a trustee of Celtic, is becoming interested also in registered Poland China hogs, having purchased a very fine registered hog, planning to raise registered rather than an ordinary breed of hogs.
