Friday May 13, 1937 pg. 1 CANAAN TEACHERS ARE REELECTED Trustees of the Canaan school district, Charley Howard, J.H. Hopper and W.M. Hickson, have re-elected W.W. Elrod as principal and Miss Gertrude Brown as assistant for the 1937-1938 school term, it was announced this week. It will be the second year at the Canaan school for both Mr. Elrod and Miss Brown. The former was principal at Rose Hill before going to Canaan, while the latter was a teacher at Enterprise.
