  The Whitewright Sun Thursday, February 26, 1942 pg.5 COLORED SCHOOL NEWS Mrs. Sarah Kilgroe has given Anna Belle Douglas, primary teacher in the Colored School, more than 60 books and pictures to aid her in her work. In the lot are Mother Goose booklets, pictures and rhymes; Surprise Story booklets; stories of Robert E. Lee; Gulliver's Travels; Little Lame Prince;A Dog in Flanders; and many others. The children are enjoying these pictures and books and words cannot express the appreciation of the children and the teacher of this donation by Mrs. Kilgroe.
