"Sherman News"
The negro who organized the Masonic Lodge is Capt. W.D. Mathews, Grand Master of the colored Masons of Kansas.  The officers elected were publically installed at Cummins' Hall on Thuesday night.  Mathews is a very intelligent darkey, wears two badges, one the cross of the Red Knight of Jerusalem - but he happens to be a black Knight.
