Monday, June 5, 1911 pg.6 COLORED MASONS Polar Star Lodge No. 33, Free and Accepted Masons, had their annual election of officers Friday night, 2nd inst. in their hall on North Montgomery street and resulted as follows: C.H. Stone, W.M. Walter H. Orr, S.W. Ed. Cook, J.W. Samuel G. Potts, treasurer P.W. Carpenter, secretary Frank Bingham, tiler Rev. L.S. Sneed, chaplain Chas. Dillingham, Pete Patterson, and James Crenshaw, trustees The W.M. appointed Jno. H. Richardson, S.D.; the S.W. appointed Paul Hawkins, J.D.; the J.W. appointed Worlds Reid, S.S.; and Jno. E. Anderson, J.S. Polar Star Lodge of Masons is the leading colored lodge in the state.
