The Lyon Infantry Home
Sherman, Tex., July 27 - The Lyon infantry have returned home, a little tired and travel stained, but still as enthusiastic as when they started to San Antonio. Regimental Quartermaster George Lindsay said today that the supply at the commissary was both wholesome and ample, and that rumors that the militia were illy fed is absolutely without foundation.

Preparing for the Reunion
Sherman, Tex., Aug. 17 - Preparations still continue for the ex-confederates' reunion, which is to take place in this city at College park Sept. 11.
Arrangements have been made for quite a number of well known speakers and among the number on the programme are Senator Roger Q. Mills, Judge T.J. Brown of the supreme court. Congressman J.W. Bailey and Gen. J.M. Pearson of McKinney, Collin County.
