Friday, May 7, 1915 pg 5 BOY SCOUTS TO SPEND DAY AT WOODLAKE Scout Master Fitz Bryant will accompany the local troop of Boy Scouts to Woodlake for an outing Friday night and Saturday this week. The company will go to Sherman on the Cotton Belt, where they will join other Sco uts of the county and will be conducted on a hike to the summer resort between Sherman and Denison. Following are some of the rules which the boys must observe on this outing: No fire arms in camp. No swearing or use of tobacco. Swimming only at stated hours, with an instructor in charge. If Scou t violates this rule, he will be sent home. Absolutely no use of boats without special permission, and if granted, the party must be in charge of an adult leader. Scouts not allowed to leave camp ground without special permission. Certain and specified time set aside for general visit to store, leaving no excuse for scout to go alone. Violations of this rule subjects scout to court discipline. Any tent reported for noise after taps will be required to do camp duty next day from 8 to 4 o'clock. No one allowed more than 10c a day spending money, except for special items for which he must have permission from those in charge or the banker. Everything a Scout takes must be marked with his name, troop and city. Any one failing to obey Scout Masters will be severely dealt with.
