Waples Methodist Church Denison, Texas  The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, March 8, 1903 pg. 2 Miss Helen Waples, daughter of J.G. Waples, of the Waples Platter Grocery Company, who is in school at Wellesly College, Massachusetts, presented a large, beautiful pulpit BIble to the Waples Memorial M.E. Church in memory of her grandmother, the late Mrs. Nancy Waples, whose birthday fell on February 22. Miss Waples sent the book in time to reach here before that date, so it might be presented publicly on Sunday.
