Preached the first sermon at the home of Dr. Clark in the log cabin.
Preached the first protracted meeting - three weeks; sixty conversions.
When Old Liberty was changed to Mt. Zion and was given Conference recognition, he was the first circuit rider, Mt. Zion being a part of his circuit, and his circuit then a part of four counties.
