New Pastor of St. Joseph's
Rev. M.J. Malone, lage of Forney, Texas, arrived here Wednesday of last week to assume the duties of his new charge, the pastorate of St. Joseph's Church.  Fr. Malone is one of the oldest priests in the Dallas DIocese.  WHile comparatively speaking he is yet a young mand, and as he himself expressed it, there are no gray hairs in his head, he ranks in senority with Monsigner Blumm of St. Mary's, Sherman, and Fr. Donohoe of St. Patricks, this city, and is stationed between the two.
Fr. Malone was ordained in June 1892 in the old cathedral of the Sacred Heart, in Dallas, by Rt. Rev. Thomas F. Brennan, the first Bishop of Dallas.  He said his first mass in the cathedral, and soon after his ordination was appointed rector of the cathedral.
