 Shiloh
Baptist Church closed its doors in 1945. Most of the members were
forced to sell their land and relocate with the building of Lake
Texoma. John Golden was the secretary and treasurer. He sent letters
notifying members who had moved away through the years of the closing
of the church. The members who still remained in the area attended the First Baptist Church in Gordonville. The last minister to serve the church was Rev. F. L. Branch.
