"Colored" Members, 1852 - 1864

Pre-Civil War, the "colored" members had only first names in slavery.  In the record book of Kentuckytown Baptist Church, the names were followed by the names of their masters.  However, the page on which this record of members is listed, the right hand edges of the pages have been worn away; thus, the names of the masters cannot be determined, as well as the dates of admission to the church.
