Hagerman Presbyterian Church Hagerman, Texas Original Building - 1901 The
Steedman Presbyterian church was organized July 29, 1901 in the Plainview
school house. The Steedman Presbyterian Church later became the
Hagerman Presbyterian Church. The Methodist Church was organized in the
Hagerman Presbyterian Church in 1907. Worship continued here
until it was dissolved in 1943. A one room structure was built in Hagerman in 1905. A south wing and steeple were added in 1924. The church building was moved in 1942 and became the building for the Hyde Park Presbyterian Church. In 1922 the Hagerman Baptist Church was organized and moved two miles east of the community. Today it continues as the Hagerman Baptist Church.
