Woods St. Church of Christ Sherman, Texas   In
1955, through the combined efforts of Walnut St. Church of Christ and
Grand Ave. Church of Christ congregations, a new church was established
at 2100 N. Woods St. The Woods St. Church of Christ was established with 124 members from both Walnut St. and Grand Ave. Its church building has been expanded four times. The church's Family Life Building is located on the spot where the one-room Fairview Elementary School once stood. Ministers include:
