Mrs. Joe
(Nancy) Sanders was the daughter of George Hudspeth,
charter member of the Collinsville Church of Christ.
She raised the original money to build the first
building.
She was named after Nancy Jackson, mother of President Andrew Jackson
as
her mother was the president's niece. She and her husband
deeded the
original building lot to the church on which the first building was
erected.
She lived in the Ed King home.
