Left for Tennessee
Sherman, Tex., Oct. 6 - Rev. H. W. Sears, late pastor of the Cherry Street
Cumberland Presbyterian church of this city, left today for Jackson, Tenn.,
where he has accepted a call to the pastorate of the church there, and will
probably hold his first regular service there next Sunday morning. He
leaves a host of friends in Sherman, where he has accomplished some excellent
work. The elegant new church edifice has to a great extent been the fruit
of his energy and persistence.
