Central Church of Christ Sherman, Texas The Denison Press Friday, March 17, 1944 TWO CHURCHES TO ERECT HOMES Two Denison churches will soon start work on the job erecting new houses of worship, it was announced here this week when permits were granted the Armstrong Avenue Church of Christ and the Central Church of Christ to erect new structures. The former church will build on their old site where a fire destroyed the building at Armstrong and Hull. The building will cost $9,000. Leland Alton is the minister. The Central Church of Christ will erect a $25,000 home, and will be on their lot at Mirick and Crawford. Austin Sibert is the minister.
