Cedar Methodist Church Col.
J. R. Cole was one of the charter members of Cedar Methodist church. He
also organized and taught the first school in the community. He later
became the business manager of Kidd-Key College in Sherman, going from
there to Abilene, and finally founding a Military School for boys in
Dallas, Texas.
