Sunday, September 27, 1885 Anniversary Edition pg. 1 THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH This church is located at the corner of Crawford street and Armstrong avenue and has a membership of 180 converts. During the past year the membership was increased to the number of 130 under the minsterial labors of Rev. W.B. Stinson, the careful and painstaking pastor. The church debt is now only $30. The Christian Sabbath School is in a flourishing condition with an average attendance of 90 members. OFFICERS AND TEACHERS Mr. Clarkson, Superintendent James Culver, Secretary Teachers : Mr. Leedy, Mrs. Stinson, Mrs. Clarkson, Mrs. Wilkinson, Miss Mary Sharp, Miss Emma Sharp, Miss Leota Jones. During the past year the church building has undergone some marked improvement, the chief feature being the construction of new and handsome seats.
