  Sherman - Jerry Wayne Adams, 77, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. Funeral services will be held Friday 10 a.m. August 28, 2015 at Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, Texas. Brad McClenny will officiate. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery in Sherman. Jerry was born in Leonard, Texas on February 5, 1938, to Earl and Jewel Adams. He was married to Mary Francis Adams on July 9, 1975. Jerry was a patient man who enjoyed being involved with his children's lives. He was an active member of Country Chapel Baptist Church in Denison. He worked as a realtor in Grayson County and enjoyed traveling with his wife. Jerry is survived by his wife, Mary Adams of Sherman; son, Mike Adams and wife, Gina, of Sherman; son, Chris Adams and wife, Laura, of Denison; son, Scott Adams and wife, April, of Sherman; son Tim Adams, and wife, Linda, of Greenville, Texas; sister, Joyce Billings of Melissa; brother, Bobby Adams and wife, Linda, of Greenville, Texas; brother, David Adams and wife, Pinkie, of Florida; brother, Kenneth Adams and wife, Jackie, of Bonham, Texas; friends, Don Morrow and John Carlisle; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
