  Mary E. Brannum 17 December 1927 - 25 February 1981 SHERMAN - Funeral for Mary Elizabeth Betty Brannum, 62, of Sherman, who died Wednesday in Mt. Pleasant, will be
Friday, 4 p.m., at Waldo Chapel. Burial will be in the Friendship Cemetery. Mrs. Brannum was born Dec. 17, 1924 in Bayonne, N.J. She married Roy Brannum Sr. Jan. 1, 1947, in New Jersey and had been employeed as a nurses aide at the Chapel of Care Nursing Home for 15 years. She was a member of the Pecan Grove Baptist Church. Survivors are one son, Roy, of Sherman; a daughter, Mrs. Lettie Mac Vaughn, Mt. Pleasant; two brothers, Billy and Buddy Young, both of Bayonne, N.J.; two sisters, Mrs. Loretta Golda and Mrs. Joe Kuris, both of Bayonne, N.J.; two grandchildren.   Roy E.
