Funeral services were held Wednesday in Waldo Funeral Chapel here for Mrs. C.E. Brannum, 56, of 901 W. Center, who died Tuesday morning following a heart attack. Burial was in Friendship Cemetery, west of Sherman. Roy, Homer, Loyce, Hoyt, and James Brannum, all of Dallas were pallbearers. All are stepson of Mrs. Brannum. Mrs. Brannum, the former Alta Juanita Lewis, was born September 7, 1907 in Fannin County. She was a member of Crockett St. Church of Christ. Survivors besides her husband and stepsons are: two stepdaughter, Mrs. Frances Carroll of Arlington and Mrs. Lela Andrews of Rio Hondo; a sister, Mrs. Laura Clover of Sherman; several nieces and nephews; and several step-grandchildren.
