Funeral Rites Held for W.H. Smith

Sherman, Texas, Dec. 29 - Funeral services were held Thursday at the Friendship Methodist Church for Wade Hamilton Smith, 74, retired farmer, who died at his home near Sherman.
Smith was a native of Morristown, Tenn.  He had been a resident of Grayson County forty-eight years.
He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Bob Covey of Dallas; Mrs. Glenis Claxton of Bonham; Mrs. Gene Thornton and Mrs. Glen Hughes, both of Sherman; five sons, Arthur Smith, Ray Smith and Howard Smith, all of Pueblo, Colo., and Finis Smith and Thomas Smith, both of Sherman; a sister, Mrs. Charlie Dalton of Pottsboro; two brothers, Howard Smith of Sherman and Thomas Smith of Lindsey, Calif.; his step-mother; a half-brother and six half-sisters.
