March 26, 2012 WHITESBORO - Jackie Saunier, of Whitesboro, passed away Saturday, March 24, after a lengthy illness. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 28 at 11 a.m., at Friendship Church in Sherman. Rev. Bill Parr of Nor'kirk Presbyterian Church will officiate. Survivors include: her husband of 65 years, Claude, her two children, Deborah and Clete and five grandchildren – Esther Sharp of Tulsa, Oklahoma and C.J., Jenna, Jacquelyn and Cathryn Saunier of West Palm Beach, Florida. Also surviving her are her brother, R.W. (Buster) Klas of Sherman and Francis (Frankie) Anderson of Pottsboro and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Laura Klas, three brothers, Alvin, John and Billy Don Klas; and two sisters, Mae Ruyle and Evelyn Gray. Her family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful caretakers who made her last days with them such joyful ones - Debbie Reid and Jessica Riddels and, most especially, to Kim Nordlie who extended selfless grace and love to Jackie and Claude through the most difficult times. The family is very grateful for the kindness of the Grayson County Home Hospice workers in the final weeks of Jackie's life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Home Hospice of Grayson County or to your favorite charity.
