SHERMAN, Texas -- Services for Kenny Norris, 55, will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 17, 2006, at the Victory Life Outreach Church in Sherman with Pastor Lee Armstrong and Pastor Ann Lewis officiating. Interment will be in Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home.

Born on Aug. 6, 1951, in Ardmore to Kenneth August Norris and Martha Lucille King Norris, he passed away on Aug. 13, 2006, at a Sherman hospital. He was preceded in death by his father.

Married to Jan Satterfield on Aug. 28, 2002, in Sherman, he was a member of Victory Life Church and founding member of Victory Life Motorcycle Ministry. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Sherman; sons, Kevin Norris, and wife, Crystal, Ardmore, Brandon Norris, Tulsa, Jacob Norris, and wife, Bonnie, Tulsa; his mother, Martha Norris, Des Moines, Iowa; stepchildren, Melony Cooksey, Plano, Texas, and Brian Cooksey, Whitesboro, Texas; brothers, Roger Norris, and wife, Rose, Des Moines, Steve Norris, Colbert, and Bruce Norris, and wife, Donnita, Des Moines; and grandchildren, Chelsi Norris, Kyleigh Norris, Kade Norris, Caleb Norris, Hannah Norris, ColeBe Norris, Carlee Norris, Weston Norris, Jayden Norris and Teagan Norris..
