ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Betty Ruth Croft Jones (Mama Jones), 90, of Albuquerque, N.M., departed this life on Sunday,
May 26, 2013. She was born on Jan. 22, 1923, in Hartshorne, Okla. to Andrew and Missouri Elizabeth (Jourdan) Croft.
She was pre-deceased by her four siblings, Pete, Edie, Nina, and Max. She met the love of her life, Owen W. Jones, in Socorro, N.M., and they were married on Nov. 3, 1941. They were blessed with four daughters: Dina Lynn, Cindy June, Jonne Elaine, and Lisa Ruth.

Betty was pre-deceased by her husband of 50 years, and is survived by her four daughters, Dina and Ronnie Sykes of Albuquerque, N.M., Cindy Griffin of Sherman, Jonne and Phillip Eichhorn, M.D. of Plano, and Lisa Simpson of Dallas. She
is also survived by eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and her beloved dog, Panda.

Family services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Waldo Funeral Home, Sherman, with Rev. Elaine Bussey officiating. Interment will follow at Friendship Cemetery, Sherman.
