January 13, 2012 Jimmie Lois Graham, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012 in McKinney. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14 at Dannel Funeral Home, Sherman. Officiating will be James Crawford. Interment will be at Friendship Cemetery in Sherman. Pallbearers will be grandsons: David Davis, Leslie Davis, Randy Davis, Mark Robison, George Miller Jr., Jim Graham and Josh McKinney. The family will receive friends from 6 -8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 13 at Dannel Funeral Home. Mrs. Graham was a resident at Baybrook Village in McKinney at the time of her death. She was born to Arthur Schoppaul and wife Minnie of Ft. Worth. She loved to travel and loved country music. Mountain View, Ark. was one of her favorite places to travel to. She loved to write poems and stories and had several poetry books made for her family and friends. She was a strong willed person and loved by all that knew her. She had been a member of the North Texas Dance Club for many years. Mrs. Graham was baptized in Denton in May 1946. She married Homer K. Graham in 1942 in Denton. He preceded her in death on September 1988. Also, preceded in death are her parents, sister, Johnnie Mae Wilson, great-granddaughter, Angel Graham. Mrs. Graham is survived by sister, Lou Hill of Mesquite; daughter, Shirley Wakeland and husband Ray of Dayton; grandchildren, David Davis, Leslie Davis and Randy Davis and wife Amy, all of Dayton. Their grandchildren: Paul, Dustin, Adrienne, Jeremy, Rachel, Brodie, Miranda, Mason, Donna, Preston. Their great-grandchildren: Emily, Madison, Micka, Asher, Lily and Jasmine. Daughter, Betty Davis and husband Leonard of Humboldt, TN. Her children: Ricky Walston of Tennessee Colony, Sharon Lyles and husband David of Golden, CO and Penny Marshall of Frisco, TX. Their grandchildren: Justin, Jamie, Tonya, Jesse, Jeremy, Jared and Chastity. Their great-grandchildren: Taylor, Cameron, Dillon, Logan, Alex, James, Autumn, Karis, Maleigha and Trae. Daughter, Judy Robison and husband Doug of Sherman. Their children: Cindy Woodard of Denison and Mark Robison and wife Luanne of Sherman. Their grandchildren: Kyle, Jessica and Matthew. Daughter, Linda Miller and husband G.A. of Pottsboro, TX. Their children: Vel Garrick and husband Andrew of Vacaville, CA and George Miller Jr. of Fort Worth. Son, Kenneth Graham of Bonham and one grandchild, Kendra. Son, Jimmy Graham of Ennis and his children Jim Graham and Jenny Kay and husband Vince of Orange. His grandchildren Hannah and Emily Son, Steve Graham and wife Vanessa of Waxahachie. Their children Deena and husband Michael of Dallas and Josh McKinney and wife Lorinda of Denton. Their grandchildren: Ella, Hayes and Jaden. Also, several nieces and nephews and other extended family. You will be greatly missed by us all.

May 23, 2012 SHERMAN - Kenneth Ray Graham came into this world on Sept. 5, 1952. He passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 after an accidental fall. He was the first son of the late Homer Kenneth and Lois Graham. He lived most of his life in the Sherman area. A memorial service will be held at noon Thursday, May 24 at Dannel Funeral Home. Officiating will be Bro. James Crawford, pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church. He loved country music and he loved to play the guitar. He loved his family and friends and was loved deeply by those who knew him. He loved his goats and chickens and he loved showing them to people who came to visit. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and a granddaughter, Angel Graham. He is survived by a son, Kenneth A. Graham of Denison and a granddaughter, Kendra Graham of Anna; sisters, Shirley and Ray Wakeland of Dayton, Betty and Leonard Davis of Humboldt, Tenn., Judy and Doug Robison of Sherman and Linda and G.A. Miller of Pottsboro; brothers, Jim Graham of Ennis and Steve and Vanessa Graham of Waxahachie; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Burial will be at Friendship Cemetery at a later date.
