March 28, 1935 Former Dallas Woman Dies at Sherman Home Sherman, Texas, March 27 - Mrs Gertrude Cash Craven, 57, died at a local hospital Wednesday after an illness of about six weeks. She had been in the hospital for the last two weeks. Funeral services will be held at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. G.H. Hurley, at 2 pm Thursday. Dr. Roy H. Biser, pastor of the Central Christian Church of which Mrs. Craven was a member, will conduct the services. Burials will be in Friendship Cemetery west of Sherman. Mrs. Craven was born in Chattanooga, Tenn., in 1877. She came to Sherman from Dallas, May 21, 1934, where since the time she had made her home with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. G.H. Hurley. Surviving Mrs. Craven are one daughter, Mrs. Hurley of Sherman; one son, Klyce Craven of Sherman, and one uncle, W.G. Baldwin of Camden, Ill.
