  Royce Gann Pickard, 89, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, May 9, 2019. Graveside services were held Monday afternoon, May 13, 2019 at Friendship Cemetery in Sherman, Texas. Rev. Lou Williams officiated. Royce wa born July 30, 1929, daughter of James and Dora Hale Gann in Stringtown, Oklahoma. She attended schools in Sherman and Denison. Royce married the love of her life, Kenneth L. Broughton, on August 30, 1945. After his passing in 1975, she married Keith Pickard. She is survived by her daughter, Martha B. Weaver, of Denison; granddaughter, Stacey Greenway and husband, Michael, of Sherman; one grandson, Scott Weaver of Denison; one great-grandson, Codey Greenway and wife, Katie, of Denison; 2 great-great-granddaughters, Scarlett and Cecelia Greenway, of Denison; 2 step-great-great-grandsons, Drake and Sparrow Wilcox of Denison; sister, Carolyn Matherly, of Sherman, step-daughter, Patty Kyker of Nebraska; brother-in-law, David Broughton of Michigan; daughter-in-law, Donna Broughton of Denison; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends. Royce was preceded in death by her parents; brothers; sisters; and her son, Bill Broughton of Denison.
