   Laura Ellen Lippin, left this earth on June 1 2023, to be with her beloved Danny Loyd.
Laura came to Texas from the East Coast where she grew up. She excelled in school academically and also enjoyed swimming. She earned an undergraduate degree from Wright State University, followed by a Master’s degree in Social Work from Rutgers University. Laura had a successful career at the VA, where she met the Love of her Life, Danny Loyd of Bonham, Texas. During her career with the VA, Laura earned numerous awards for helping veterans. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and playing with her dogs Beasley and Mouse. She was a shining example of what a beautiful, strong, intelligent and compassionate human being can accomplish, despite her disability. She is survived by sister Adrienne, brother-in-law Steve, sister-in-law Shelby, nephew Carl, niece Kelsey, niece Nessa, great-niece Maxine Rose, dear friends Jessica, Carrol, Carolyn, Nancy, Lori, and other friends and family who loved and admired her.
