Funeral services were conducted Thursday at the Short-Murray chapel for Herbert LeRoy White, who died in Dalhart Tuesday.  Interment was at Fairview.  He was traveling agent for the Railway Express company.
He was born in 1891 at Paris and started his career with the express company in Bonham in 1910.  He left Dallas for Dalhart Sunday on a  mission for the company where he died suddenly Tuesday morning.
He was married to Mavis Hemmingway and one daughter, Mrs. Paul Bates, Dallas, survives, besides a brother, Julian of Tulsa, and a sister, Miss Frances White, Dallas.
