Birdie Jane Waters, 86, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, December 13, 2018 in Denison. 
Birdie was born September 8, 1932 in Maysville, Arkansas, daughter of James "Doc" and Luella Milhon Long.
Birdie retired from Texoma Medical Center with 27 years as an EKG Technician.  She loved the lord and attended River Pointe Assembly of God on Woodlawn in Denison.
Birdie is survived by her 4 children, Denis Waters of Cartwright, Oklahoma; Johnny Waters of Denison; Martha Waters of Denison; and Marsha Sharp of Denison; 9 grandchildren, Anthony Waters, David Waters and wife Kayla; Ashley Sharp, Cayee McHaffey and husband, Ronald; Stephanie Huggins and husband, Kyle; Krystal Trammell and husband, Shannon; Harley Sharp; Haley Sharp; camberleigh Sanders; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Larry Long and wife, Beverly, of Pampa City, Florida; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Waters; parents; 4 brothers, Jim Long, Bob Long, Bill Long and Jerry Long; and a granddaughter.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, December 17, 2018 at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor Herlin Summers officiating.  Interment followed in Fairview Cemetery.
