  Martha Townsend was born August 11, 1937 in San Antonio, Texas, daughter of Jim and Janie Murray Luna.
She passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 in Sherman, Texas. Martha is now rejoicing in Heaven. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; daughter, Cindy; and 2 grandchildren. She leaves behind Connie Bowerman; Rita Verhoeven and husband, Don; Lynn Degarmo; Julie Thornill and husband, Steven; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and 1 adopted great -granddaughter, Rhonda Wood Jackson. Services were held Monday afternoon, June 13, 2022 at Fairview Cemetery Chapel, Denison, Texas.
