Marianne Albert Shaw passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, March 9, 2013 after a lengthy illness.
She was born on June 30, 1955 in Dallas, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Lillian Albert, mother, Ruth Rolnick Albert.
Marianne lived a life following her passions. She was a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis Mo., and loved to learn, travel and teach children music. She was an accomplished pianist and composer. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her father, Richard Albert, sisters, Nancy Kaufman, Jeanine Rogozinski and Carolyn Albert and loving aunts, uncles, cousins and longtime companion Cary Painter.
A private family burial was held at Fairview Cemetery in Denison, Texas, conducted by Rabbi Kimberly Hertzog Cohen of Temple Emanu-El in Dallas, Texas.
Arrangements were under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, Texas.
