Mansfield Banner Mrs. Amanda Murray, wife of the editor of the Sunday Gazetteer, died June 16, of consumption ,at her home in Denison. She leaves a fond husband and 5 children t o mourn her loss. Mrs. Murray was one of those rare and lovely types of womanhood t hat loved nature better than fashion. If not so widely missed, yet she is more deeply missed. The Banner extends its heartfelt sympathy to the Gazetteer family in their bereavement. Cleburne Morning Review Thursday, February 7, 1924 pg. 10 PIONEER Newspaper Man of Denison Dies Denison, Feb. 6 - Bredett C. Murray, 87, a newspaper man, died at the family home here early this morning. Murray came to Denison 50 years ago. He edited the Denison News and other pioneer papers in Texas. He published the Weekly Gazette here for years, retiring several years ago. He was active up to a few day ago and contributed interesting newspaper articles to various papers.
