January 22, 1930 R. W. Munson Dies DENISON, Texas, Jan. 21 - The remains of R. W. Munson 51, who died suddenly in Ardmore, Ok., Monday, arrived in Denison Monday night. He was connected with the Exchange National Bank of Ardmore for the last twelve years, but was born, reared and educated in Denison, being the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. T. V. Munson. Surviving are one brother, Will B. Munson of Denison and three sisters, Mrs. Fern Acheson and Miss Neva Munson of Denison and Mrs. N. C. Calvert of Dallas THE OKLAHOMAN (Oklahoma City, OK) January 23, 1930 Banker At Ardmore Is Buried In Texas (Thursday) Ardmore, Jan. 22 – Services were to be held Wednesday in Denison, Texas, for R.W. Munson, assistant cashier of the Exchange National bank of this city, who died suddenly Monday morning at an Ardmore hotel where he lived. Munson was a member of an old and wealthy family of Denison, Texas. He had been with the Ardmore bank since June, 1918, having come to Ardmore from Texas shortly after the bank was organized.
