   John Lester Martinez Sr. passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 13, 2023, and went to his heavenly home at the age
of 72. John was born in Denison, TX and served in the U.S. Army and then went on to retire from a career as a Machinist of 37 years with the Union Pacific Railroad. John was preceded by his wife Teresa Martinez. He is also preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers. John is survived by his partner Debra Haywood, son John Martinez Jr., his wife Carolina Martinez and daughter Stephanie Graham, her fianc Shane Crowell. He leaves behind three sisters, Linda Neal, her husband Dennis Neal, Mary Craig, her husband John, Shirley Kuhn and one brother Joe Martinez, his wife Shelly Martinez. He leaves behind four Grandchildren, Joel Martinez, Isa Martinez, Erik Martinez and Caleb Graham. Visitation will be held at Fisher Funeral Home in Denison, TX, on Tuesday, July 18th, 2023, at 6:00PM until 8:00PM. A Graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Denison, TX on Wednesday, July 19th, 2023, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Raymond England officiating.
