Funeral services for C. Ed Lane, 69, were held at Bratcher Funeral chapel Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock.  Rev. Ed Broome, pastor of Parkside Baptist Church officiated and interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
Mr. Lane, who owned and operated Lane's Cabins at Cartwright, Oklahoma died Saturday evening at 7:45 in a local
hospital after 2 weeks of illness.
He was born in Clarksville, Arkansas, February 7, 1888.  He was married in Tulsa, Oklahoma October 28, 1923 to
Janet Herrington.
Survivors are his widow,Cartwright; and 2 brothers, A.J. Lane, Ft. Smith, Arkansas and Walter Lane, Oklahoma City.
Pallbearers were Merle Knight, Johnny Fairbanks, Max Fenton, D.W. Davis, Don Jones and F.C. Barnett.
