Denison – Dorothy L Knight, age 87 beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and friend passed from this world and went to her heavenly home on February 14, 2021.
She was born October 9, 1932 in Big Spring Texas to Don and Mary Rasberry of Big Spring Texas. She married Howard Wood, on June 30, 1950 and they were married for 30 years. Together they had three children.  
She remarried Coy Knight in 1983 and they lived in Colbert, Oklahoma for seventeen years until he passed away. She moved to the Elks lakeside community in Pottsboro, TX where she became an Elk in 2004 and lived there fifteen years.
She is still an Elk member after eighteen years .She was the happiest when she was living at Lake Texoma where she loved boating, fishing, camping, or just getting together with family and friends. She was also on a bowling league where she won numerous trophies. She never met a stranger and her beautiful, warm, friendly smile made her a friend to all.
She leaves behind two children, Lonnie Wood and wife Peggy from Denison, TX, Larna Millican and husband Steve from Pottsboro, TX. Two grandsons; Aaron Wood from Sherman, Justin Dotson from Hurst, TX and three great grandchildren, Avery Anderson from Whitesboro, TX,  Annie Guzman and  Addison Dotson from Hurst, TX.  Son Eric L Wood from Denison, TX proceeded her in death in December 2018, also her parents Don and Mary Rasberry, her sister Wilda Rice, her brothers Cecil Rasberry and Curtis Rasberry.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 6:00-8:00 pm located at Fisher Funeral Home, 604 W Main Street, Denison, Texas. Graveside Service will be held on Monday February 22, 2021 at 2:30 pm, at Fairview Cemetery in Denison TX.
