Tuesday, October 30, 1906 pg. 3 The Day At Sherman FUNERAL OF J.W. HILLIN Remains Brought From Sherman and Interred at Maple Grove The remains of John W. Hillin, who fell on the streets of Sherman Sunday afternoon and suddenly expired, were brought to the home of his daughter, Mrs. H.C. Nelms, No. 717 West Owings street, in this city, where funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. George W. Lee, pastor of the First Christian Church. Interment was made at Maple Grove Cemetery. J.W. Hillin Jr. of Marlin, J.D. Hillin of Memphis, Tennessee, and Mrs. N.N. Nunn of Bonham, children of the deceased, were present at the funeral. Mrs. M.H. Dean and Mrs. H.C. Nelms are residents of Denison. Mrs. N.C. Johnson of Los Angeles, California and H.C. Hillin of El Paso could not reach Denison in time for the funeral.
