Sunday, April 8, 1894 pg. 4 RAILROAD RUMBLINGS Three or four weeks since a young man by the name of L.H. Creary [sic] a brakeman, came to Denison from Ft. Worth and applied for a job. He decided to await his turn, and it was Tuesday morning of this week before he was called to go out. He was assigned to a run on the Greenville division, and while sitting on a box near the Main street crossing waiting for his conductor to get orders, he threw up both hands, gasped, and in less time than it takes to tell it, died. When death occurred he was speaking to some of the train men relative to the stopping and eating places along the road. His remains were conveyed to the undertaking house of L. Lindsey, where they were prepared for burial. LOCAL CONDENSATIONS Wednesday, April 4 - The remains of the brakeman, L.H. Creasey, who died so suddenly yesterday morning were interred today in Fairview cemetery. Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church.
