  The Lord called our angel, Melissa Brooke Collier, 39, back to her heavenly home Wednesday, September 20, 2023 in Plano, Texas.
Melissa was born July 8, 1984 in Sherman, Texas, daughter of Ricky and Debbie Patti Collier. She brought much joy and inspiration to all our lives. Melissa had an infectious laugh and a beautiful smile that would light up the room. She adored her grandmother; she taught us all about patience and compassion for others. Although her passing leaves a void in all of our lives, she will live on forever in our hearts. Melissa leaves behind her parents, Debbie and Phil Hayes of Allen, Texas; siblings: Eric Collier and wife, Chelsey; Kirstin Rollins and husband, Justin; grandmother, Darlene Patti Harrod; aunts and uncles: Mark and Shelia Patti; Bob and Linda Collier; Betty Collier: Tammy Riddle; Troy Lane Walker; nieces and nephews: Kailee Collier, Dylan Pedersen, Cooper Pderesen, Molly Morrow, Macy Morrow, Bexley Rollins; great aunts: Glenda Nicholson; Mary Frances Hoefer; and Josephine RIley. She was preceded in death by her father, Ricky Collier; grandfather, Charlie Patti, Jr.; grandfather, Al Collier; grandmother, Faye Walker; great-grandparents: Rev. and Mrs. Roy Nicholson and Mary Weda Patti. Funeral service was held Saturday morning, September 23, 2023 at Fisher Funeral Home Chapel.
