James Steven Bryant passed away on May 24, 2022, at home surrounded by family.

Steve graduated from Denison High School and went on to study architecture at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. He had a successful construction and design business for over 50 years.

Steve was a long-time member of the Park Avenue Church of Christ. He was faithfully devoted to God and his family.

He was a pilot and enjoyed flying and going to air shows. He also loved playing golf with a group of his friends.

Steve proudly served his country in the United States Army. He also was a citizen of the Chickasaw Nation.

Steve is survived by his wife Janice; children Vicki Holley, Lori Hodge and husband Jerry, Stephen Mathews and wife Nance; Grandchildren Jessica Miles and husband Austin, Jordan Honeycutt and husband Zach, Hailey Carlisle and husband Clark, Heather Carlisle and husband Alex, and Caleb Hodge; 8 great- grandchildren; brother David Bryant and sister Tonya Bryant.

A memorial service will be held at Park Avenue Church of Christ in Denison, Texas on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. Family visitation will be at 1:00 p.m.
