She loved fishing at Lake Texoma and would often spend time with her father reeling in crappie and catfish. She also enjoyed sewing and would often make clothes and homemade dolls for the little girls of the family. She loved animals and until recently, was always accompanied by her silky terrier, Jack. She is survived her sister, Ruth Norris; and brother, Dean Henderson, both of Lubbock; four children, Randy Pettit and wife Mary Jane of Denison, Lanny Pettit and wife Teresa of Denison, Cindy Knight and husband Greg of Sherman. Cleo is also survived by six grandchildren, Tina Hoover of Denison, Jason Pettit of Denison, Halley Knight of Sherman, Carson Bryan of Denison, Emily Steward of Denison, and Scout Pettit of Forney; and one great-grandchild, Justin Hoover of Denison. She is preceded in death by her parents and her youngest son, Kenny Don Pettit.
